What is the difference between the two tanks? 

Smaller diesel tanks offer greater portability, which is why there are officially two types of 100Gal. tanks available in the shop! We designed the DTL 100 in addition to the DT 100.

The lower profile and extended length ensure the weight distribution is ideal for a truck bed. As you can see above, the DTL 100 is much shorter than the DT 100. The size is different, but the fuel capacity is the same. You can refuel anytime and anywhere with the DTL 100 in your truck bed!

There is more surface area unlike the DT 100 which is bult more upright, not leaving enough room on the top of the tank. The DT 100 can be built to have only the pump and meter. Whereas you can build your DTL 100 to additionally have a work platform, HD Battery box, tank vent, and even a hose reel!
